The Company
Gwynedd Building Plastics was established in 1988 at unit 14 on the Cibyn Industrial Estate, Caernarfon. Soon after we extended our premises to units 13 and 15. We were the first company in North Wales to specialise in PVCu roofline products and we are still the Main Distributor and Approved installer for Swish PVCu Fascias and External Claddings. A range of low maintenance building materials is now available with specialist advice always on hand from our pleasant and helpful staff.

Full showroom facilities are available at our Caernarfon address and at our new premises at unit 3, Council Street West, Llandudno, LL30 1ED where 2 floors of bathrooms are on display.

Wall and Ceiling Systems for Hygienic Environments
The company expanded its low maintenance product range to include internal PVC systems and concentrating on hygienic wall and ceiling cladding systems for the food and drink industries. We have now developed our own high specification PlasClad brand that conforms to all EU Health and Safety Standards for Food Hygiene. The company's own high standards have resulted in many contacts both locally and throughout the UK.

Other services allied to the food production industry include insulated Structural Wall and Ceiling Systems and Chiller Doors for temperature controlled environments. [ more ]

Decorative Wall and Ceiling Panelling
Another fast growing product in our range of low maintenance building products is decorative wall and ceiling paneling systems. They are generally a modern alternative to traditional ceramic tiles for bathrooms and domestic kitchens, although they are ideal for restaurants, swimming pools, internal boat and caravan linings, loft conversions and for commercial use in retail food outlets. Such is the success of decorative panelling that, in April 2002, Gwynedd Building Plastics opened a new branch at unit 3, Council Street West, Llandudno. The extensive show centre at this branch and at the Caernarfon address, is under the banner of "Bath-rooms plus", providing a complete bathroom supply and installation service both to the domestic market and the hotel and leisure industries. Shower enclosures, electric and thermostatic showers, bathroom suites, bathroom furniture all form part of the complete bathroom package. Both show centres feature bathroom and shower room displays in complete room environments including the stunning decorative wall and ceiling panelling systems. [ more ]
